Jonathan Lummus, the owner of imill Woodworking and Design (formerly known as Islington Mill Furniture), has been crafting fine, handmade furniture and custom interiors for over 30 years. The son of renowned printmaker Carol Travers Lummus, Jonathan’s artistic lineage and passion for design inspired him to pursue a B.A. in Printmaking at the University of New Hampshire. Upon graduating, he discovered his love for woodworking, beginning with furniture, which honed his precise and intricate craftsmanship.
In 1994, Jonathan established his workshop in the Button Factory, a historic creative hub, where he began crafting bespoke furniture and high-quality interiors. Known for his collaborative approach, Jonathan works closely with clients to bring their visions to life. With a keen ear and a discerning eye, he transforms their aspirations into tangible masterpieces. His portfolio features a wide range of styles, seamlessly blending contemporary aesthetics with timeless craftsmanship, showcasing his ability to combine innovation with tradition.
